At this year’s Geneva Motor Show, Mercedes has unveiled the new C-Class Convertible. The Convertible is compared to the sedan much sportier and is more oriented to the convertible S-Class. Also in this Convertible a particularly great emphasis was placed on the aerodynamics and the wind noise insulation. Particularly proud is Mercedes on their new AirCap system, and the integrated wind deflector, which calmed the flow down in the vehicle interior and thus the convertible ride faithful to the slogan of Mercedes-Benz „The best or nothing.” The engine range will be very wide. Base engine will be a turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine. From Renault comes the four-cylinder base diesel engine. Of course, a hybrid drive is not missing, so that the new C-Class Cabriolet can drive about 50 kilometers purely electrically. The top model comes naturally from AMG. The twin-turbocharged four-liter V8 performs in the base 476 hp and the „S“ version has around 510 hp. The „Beginner“ AMG engine in form of a twin-turbocharged three-liter V8 could move up to 400 hp.
